Thank you so much Alia! :)

Well, I check/mix/add water whenever I have new stuff to add from the kitchen. And the jars I leave for the kitchen fill up every 3 days. Compost has to stay moist but not dripping wet, overwatering produces mould and a bad smell. But it’ll still be compost.
The reason I mix and water so often is because the more often you add air and moisture plus having the things chopped in small pieces, the faster composting happens.

I’d like to note that compost ‘cooks’ faster in the summer than winter. Do start Now if you’re planning to, because it keeps shrinking and shrinking, and you can use it anytime. I keep adding things to my finished compost all the time, as I will use it in about 3 weeks time. And even when I do use it, I will keep making compost because you can never have enough.

Hello,
Great work!
I have a question about the newspapers are they safe to use?
Because I’m not sure if kuwaiti newspapers use soy based ink, hence you will be using chemicals in your compost. anyways you can contact them and make sure.
Thanks
I’m really happy that your such work!
Keep on working and best of luck..

Thank you so much for your comment Talal!
And yes, I’m not sure about the ink in the newspapers, so I stopped composting them, I’ve actually only used them once, now most of my carbon comes from wood shavings, cardboard and dried grass clippings. Papers are taken by GTC recycling. Found that papers take long to compost.

Nice,
If people start composting, the trash will have less to no smell (just like Japan).
Amazing motivator
Best luck
